The original design is provided by the customer, and Asink improves the design: modification of the fin array (originally the fin is perpendicular to each other and will increase CNC machining costs and processing time).
In addition to changing the fin design, we also added fin top out to facilitate the releasing process, ensuring smooth operation and preventing deformation. Fins that did not affect heat dissipation function were removed from the design
as well.The final design not only extends mold life and reduces erosion issues but also improves the feeding process during die-casting, resolving runner issues. The actual heat dissipation performance exceeds customer expectations during testing, demonstrating that good design not only meets customer needs but also enhances production efficiency.

The customer takes the actual test data
The thermal module consists of die-casting part, fan, and conductive adhesive, and is used in Wifi 7products.
As technology advances, many products are striving to be lighter, thinner, and smaller. Consequently, the space available for heat dissipation components is becoming narrower. Therefore, how to design while balancing space, heat dissipation function, and production feasibility will become more and more important.
